About Us

Missionaries Leandro and Vanessa Siqueira

Leandro and Vanessa have been Asas missionaries since 2008. 

The couple has two daughters: Clara, 10 years old, and Lis, 8 years old.

Leandro is the son of missionaries from the Novas Tribos do Brasil Mission. He lived part of his childhood among the Yanomami Indians.

Currently, Leandro is Aviation Director of Asas de Socorro; He works as an operational pilot at the Anápolis/GO Base, flying to indigenous villages in the Amazon, as a flight instructor and checker accredited by ANAC at the mission's Aviation School.

Vanessa has a degree in theology from the Vale da Benção seminary, and worked for YWAM for five years, before coming to Asas.

For the couple, the objective of their ministry is “to transform lives in isolated places in Brazil, through the gospel that is more present, further and faster”.
